Offlicence will be flying over to Stuttgart for a special LIVE show for the closing award ceremony.

Indian Film Festival in Stuttgart is Germany’s only Indian Film Festival “Bollywood and beyond” will take place in Stuttgart, where 60 films from the Indian film scene will be shown, including the Germany premier of Indian superstar director Aamir Khan’s film “Taare Zameen Par”

This is the fifth time that the Filmbüro Baden-Württemberg is hosting the event in the center of Stuttgart. The program is varied and includes Bollywood blockbusters such as 'Jodhaa Akbar', but also many arthouse productions and documentaries.

The festival will again feature a section titled “Indian Shorts”. This year four short films of the AIDS-Jaago Project by four of the most prominent directors in India will be shown: “Blood Brothers” by Visal Bhardwaj, “Migration'” by Mira Nair, “Prarambha” by Santosh Sivan and Farhan Akhtar’s “Positive”.

Offlicence secure a headline slot at this year’s Liverpool International Carnival 2012 @ Princess Park - 14th July - 5pm-6pm (Mainstage)
Offlicence recently performed at the Cambridge Mela and were delightted with the turnout dispite the rain. The group joined Panjabi MC and HMC on the BBC Asian Network stage.

The Liverpool International Carnival is the UK’s second biggest carnival behind Notting Hill.
Speaking about the main event on Saturday July 14and the traditional parade to Princes Park, Mr. Agis said: “There are opportunities for people to take part by wearing some wonderfully vibrant costumes or if people prefer, they can waive and cheer on the massive procession towards Princes Park starting close to Liverpool Community College on Catherine Street on the morning of Carnival.  We’re calling the parade, Liverpool International Carnival ‘De Paradise – ‘De Life Beyond’. It’s an Inspire Mark project and will be Liverpool’s opportunity to join in the nationwide Cultural Olympiad celebrations in the run up to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympics Games."
